Terms of Service

This page is a starting template. It is not legal advice. Please have a qualified lawyer review and adapt it for CLT 3D Printing before you publish it.

Effective date: June 16, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use the AncientGameForge website or buy our products. By browsing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy from us.

Who we are

AncientGameForge is operated by CLT 3D Printing, a business based in the United States. We sell 3D-printed replicas of ancient board games and ship them to customers. You can reach us at hello@ancientgameforge.com.

Our products

Our products are 3D-printed replicas of ancient and historical board games. Most items are made to order, which means we print and finish each one after you buy it. Because the items are printed by hand and finished individually, small differences in color, texture, layer lines, and dimensions are normal and are not defects. Product photos are meant to be accurate, but the item you receive may vary slightly in appearance.

Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in US dollars and may change at any time. The price that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout. You are responsible for any sales tax, duties, or import fees that apply.

We use Stripe to process card payments. By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method and that the details you provide are accurate. We may cancel or refuse an order if we suspect fraud, a pricing error, or a problem with payment.

Shipping and delivery

Because most items are made to order, orders need production time before they ship. We will give you an estimate of production and shipping times at checkout or in your confirmation. These are estimates, not guarantees. Once an order ships, delivery times depend on the carrier.

Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier receives the package. If your order arrives damaged, contact us at hello@ancientgameforge.com and we will work with you to make it right.

Returns and refunds

Because most items are made to order for you, returns are limited. If your item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund. We may ask for photos of the item and packaging.

We do not generally accept returns for normal variations in handmade and 3D-printed items, or for change of mind on a made-to-order product, unless required by law. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe.

Intellectual property

The AncientGameForge name, logo, website text, photos, and other content are owned by CLT 3D Printing or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or reuse our content without our written permission.

Many of the games we make are part of the public domain because of their age. Our products are our own original or licensed designs, models, and presentations of those games. Buying a product does not give you the right to copy our designs or use our brand.

Acceptable use

When you use our site, you agree not to:

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and our products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties that are not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our products are decorative and collectible replicas. They are not toys and are not certified as safe for young children. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CLT 3D Printing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to the claim. Some states do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in North Carolina, unless the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
